Dirt Bike clubs are important to the health and future of off-highway
recreation.
When you
think about it, you can divide the reasons why clubs are important into
offensive and defensive categories.
Offensive Reasons:
Clubs gain respect for the sport and the rider in the public eye.
A club can promote responsible operation and safety that benefits everyone
Clubs provide camaraderie, fun, family events, and excursions.
For regulatory agencies and land managers, clubs provide a pool of expertise and information on the sport.
In most cases, a club is the key to gaining trails.
Defensive Reasons:
A club speaks with one voice for a larger group of riders and they are taken seriously.
Clubs increase the rider’s clout with regulatory agencies, elected officials,
and land mangers.
